We’re passionate about working with brands, rights holders and other partners across Men’s and Women’s football and broader culture and sport verticals to help drive resonance with fans through best-in-class social content.
Footballco’s broader content and media business reaches more than 650m football fans across the world each month, entertaining and inspiring them across social, web, IRL, and leveraging our roster of football brands including Goal, MUNDIAL, Front Three, Voetbalzone, Kooora, and Spox. No one else has our reach or depth of understanding within the game. We are a team of over 250 employees globally, we’re a young company with some established brands, top-tier clients and big plans.
About the Role
Footballco is searching for a visionary and experienced creative to step into a new role: Creative Director, Social Studio. In this pivotal position, you will be the driving force behind our creative output with our ‘social content as a service’ agency offering, leading the ideation and execution of social-first campaigns for an exciting range of partners, global brands, and rights holders.
We are seeking someone with an inherently innovative, socially-native approach. You must possess a profound, up-to-the-minute understanding of social platforms and digital audiences, paired with a relentless passion for crafting content that not only inspires but also drives tangible, meaningful engagement.
What you'll be doing:
- Creative Leadership & Vision: Define and lead the creative direction for the Social Studio. Spearhead the conceptualisation, ideation, and execution of high-impact, social-first campaigns that align seamlessly with partner objectives and resonate with diverse fan bases.
- Cross-Platform Expertise: Maintain your finger on the pulse of the social media landscape. Apply your deep understanding of platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat) to ensure all campaigns are natively built for their respective environments and leverage the latest trends and formats.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with and inspire a multidisciplinary team of creatives, strategists, content producers, designers, and video editors. Foster an environment that encourages bold ideas, continuous learning, and creative excellence.
- Client & Partner Collaboration: Act as a senior creative voice, and social expert in client meetings and pitches. Partner with our commercial strategy and client services/sales teams to present compelling creative ideas, translating brand messaging into culturally relevant football content.
- Strategic Execution: Oversee the end-to-end creative lifecycle. Ensure all concepts move smoothly from initial brief and storyboarding through to production, distribution, and post-campaign analysis, always keeping an eye on quality and performance KPIs.
- Innovation & Growth: Continuously push the boundaries of what branded social content can achieve in the football space. Work to elevate our existing IP and develop new, scalable formats that excite brands and engage fans.
- Input into commercial narrative: ensure that our go-to-market proposition is constantly evolving to capture the best of what we can offer as a social studio within Footballco and to ensure that we’re offering clients both what they want now, and what they don’t know they’re going to need in the future.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
