WE’RE HIRING: CREATIVE EDITOR & AI FILMMAKER
Rare Content is looking for a highly creative, dynamic and passionate Editor & AI Filmmaker to join our growing team.
Creativity is the most important part of this role.
We’re looking for someone who can take a short brief, find the idea within it and run with it — shaping compelling stories and creating work that feels fresh, distinctive and genuinely engaging.
You’ll have honed your craft through traditional editing, with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music, sound and visual language. But you’ll also have embraced the rapidly evolving world of AI filmmaking, using the latest tools to expand what’s creatively possible.
You won’t simply use AI for the sake of it. You’ll combine it with strong editorial judgement, original thinking and excellent filmmaking instincts to create brilliant work.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Developing creative ideas from short briefs and taking ownership of them
- Combining live-action footage, animation, sound design and AI-generated visuals
- Exploring new AI filmmaking tools, techniques and creative workflows
- Working collaboratively with our directors, producers and wider creative team
- Helping us push the quality and ambition of every project

ABOUT YOU
- You’re an experienced editor with a strong and varied portfolio
- You’re a creative thinker and a natural storyteller
- You understand what makes content emotionally engaging and visually memorable
- You have hands-on experience with AI image, video and filmmaking tools
- You’re curious, open-minded and excited by new creative possibilities
- You can work confidently from a short brief and bring your own ideas to the table
- You’re a positive, proactive and collaborative person
- You communicate clearly and respond well to feedback
- Above all, you care deeply about making great work

DETAILS
- Hybrid role
- Salary: £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience
- Full-time position
