Creative Event Sales & Planning Manager - Premium Events
Chiswick, London
Up to £50,000 + Commission
Hybrid - 4 days office-based, 1 day working from home
Do you love creating incredible events but also have the commercial instinct to turn an exciting enquiry into a confirmed booking?
We're recruiting for an established premium event design and production company in London, looking for a Creative Event Sales & Planning Manager to join its commercial team.
This is not a cold business development role. The business already generates a strong flow of inbound enquiries. Your role is to take those opportunities, understand exactly what the client is looking for and use your creativity, event knowledge and commercial skills to turn their initial ideas into an event they can't wait to book.
You'll be involved from the first conversation - developing the concept, creating the proposal, working through budgets and presenting ideas - before ultimately converting the enquiry into a confirmed event.
The Role
You'll manage incoming event enquiries from initial brief through to proposal and conversion, acting as a key point of contact for the client throughout the sales and planning process.
You'll get under the skin of each brief - understanding the occasion, audience, venue, budget and what the client wants people to experience - before developing a creative response that brings their ideas to life.
Working alongside an established in-house team across design, visualisation, production, scenic and event operations, you'll have the resources around you to create visually compelling proposals and confidently sell the overall vision.
Creativity is a big part of the role. You don't need to be a designer yourself, but you do need to be someone who can look at a brief and think "What could we do with this?" The original brief specifically calls for someone who can develop creative responses and work with the in-house visual design team to bring those concepts to life.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
