Mid-weight designer (between 2-5 years experience)

Manchester – Ancoats | Hybrid Working | Full-time

At Studio North, we help ambitious organisations navigate moments of change and transformation through brand strategy and design. From creating new brands and visual identities to websites, campaigns and digital experiences, you’ll work on projects that make a genuine difference to our clients’ businesses.

You’ll join a collaborative team where new ideas are welcomed, strategy shapes creativity, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute.

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, proactive and passionate about developing their craft. Someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in the details and wants to keep getting better with every project.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating memorable brand identities and visual systems
  • Designing across print, digital and campaign work
  • Turning strategic thinking into engaging creative solutions
  • Working closely with strategists, account managers and fellow designers
  • Presenting and discussing ideas internally
  • Managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Continuing to develop your skills through mentoring and real client experience

What we’re looking for

  • Around 2–5 years’ experience in a creative or brand agency
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong creative thinking and excellent craft
  • A good understanding of branding and how design supports business objectives
  • Confidence working across both print and digital projects
  • Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills
  • Someone who enjoys collaborating, sharing ideas and learning from others
  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for great design
