Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you

We're looking for someone with experience managing education, learning or public engagement programmes within a cultural, heritage, environmental or visitor-facing setting. You will understand and champion how meaningful learning experiences can support the development of practical skills, confidence and knowledge, particularly through outdoor learning, gardening and creative exploration.

  • You'll be a skilled relationship builder, confident working across organisations and sectors, and passionate about designing and delivering enriching experiences for children and young people.
  • You'll also be excited by the opportunity to help shape and develop a pioneering new programme, using insight, reflection and collaboration to evolve its approach over time.

Experience of working with schools and youth organisations is essential. Experience of collaborating with artists, creative practitioners, cultural organisations or delivering cultural learning programmes would be particularly valuable, as would experience of outdoor learning, environmental education, horticulture or nature-based learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to help establish the RHS's first long-term educational programme in central London and shape a nationally significant partnership between two leading cultural organisations. Working at the intersection of horticulture, art, and learning, the Creative Ground Programme Manager will play a key role in developing an innovative model with the potential to influence future practice across the cultural, environmental and education sectors.
