Creative Lead (Meta Ads & Campaign Strategy)

Hybrid

Are you a performance-focused marketer who knows why some Meta ads work and others don't? Do you enjoy looking at campaign performance, spotting what's working and turning those insights into the next creative idea, hook or campaign?

ScaleX Talent Solutions are working with a growing consumer brand to recruit a Creative Lead to join their marketing team in Magherafelt.

This isn't a traditional graphic design or content creation role. You'll sit between performance marketing and creative strategy – using Meta performance data to decide what creative should be made next and then working with designers, agencies and content creators to bring those ideas to life. You'll have plenty of ownership, so we're looking for someone who's confident making decisions, presenting their ideas and explaining the thinking behind their strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the creative strategy behind Meta advertising campaigns
  • Looking at campaign performance to understand what's working and why
  • Developing new hooks, messaging, personas and creative concepts
  • Using performance insights to decide what creative should be tested next
  • Briefing and directing the in-house designer, external agencies and content/UGC creators
  • Managing multiple campaigns and keeping creative production moving
  • Planning creative around key sales periods and seasonal campaigns
  • Supporting the creative direction of email campaigns
  • Presenting ideas and strategy confidently to the wider team
  • Working closely with the E-Commerce Manager and wider marketing team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

  • You'll have at least 3 years' relevant experience across areas such as paid social, Meta advertising, performance marketing or creative strategy.
  • Most importantly, you'll be someone who can combine creative thinking with commercial data.
  • You'll be comfortable using Meta performance to make decisions rather than relying purely on instinct, and you'll be confident turning those decisions into clear briefs for other people to execute.
  • Experience within eCommerce or a consumer/DTC brand would be particularly useful, as would experience working with agencies, designers or UGC creators.
  • You'll also need to be comfortable presenting your ideas and challenging thinking when you believe there's a better approach.

What’s on offer

  • This is an opportunity to take real ownership of creative strategy within a growing consumer brand, with the freedom to influence what gets created, tested and developed.
  • For the first six weeks, you'll spend more time with the team while getting fully up to speed with the brand and role. Following this, the position moves to a 60/40 hybrid working arrangement, with flexibility around Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • If you're currently working in Paid Social, Performance Marketing, Creative Strategy or eCommerce Marketing and want a role where you'll have more influence over the creative decisions being made, we'd love to hear from you.
