Creative Lead – DTC & Performance Creative
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Lead – DTC & Performance Creative based in United Kingdom.
This is a high-ownership creative leadership role within a fast-growing direct-to-consumer environment where creative is a key driver of customer acquisition.
You’ll oversee the creative engine across agencies and internal teams, ensuring ideas move efficiently from research and briefing through production, QA, testing, and iteration.
The role combines creative leadership, agency management, performance marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, editors, designers, and art direction to consistently raise the quality and effectiveness of paid social creative.
Performance data will guide your decisions, with metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS, CVR, and revenue informing what to improve and test next.
You’ll also build scalable systems, workflows, and reporting practices that turn creative learnings into repeatable processes.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced performance creative professional who wants meaningful ownership over both creative output and business growth.
Accountabilities
- Own the end-to-end creative production process across multiple external creative agencies and an internal team, managing priorities, quality, delivery, reviews, and performance.
- Lead agency relationships, including running biweekly calls, setting expectations, reviewing output, and holding partners accountable for execution and results.
- Develop approximately 10 creative briefs per week using customer research, audience insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data.
- Oversee and quality-check scripts, static concepts, UGC ideas, hooks, video edits, landing-page concepts, and supporting research.
- Provide clear, actionable creative feedback to strategists, editors, designers, creators, copywriters, and agency partners.
- Manage creative workflows and production tracking through Notion or comparable project-management systems.
- Research winning advertisements, customer reviews, competitors, audience pain points, offers, hooks, and emerging creative patterns to inform new concepts.
- Analyze creative performance and identify which concepts, formats, messages, and executions are working and which opportunities should be tested next.
- Translate weekly performance insights into clear team updates, actionable recommendations, and repeatable creative systems.
- Collaborate across creative and performance functions to continuously improve production efficiency, creative quality, and campaign results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
