King Edward First
King Edward First is a digital marketing consultancy for founder-led small businesses. We grew up as a media-buying shop, and on most of our accounts the buying is no longer what limits the result. The creative is.
We are hiring one person to own that end, on Meta and TikTok.
What you would do
- You would own the creative end to end. That starts with the client: understanding their business well enough to propose angles and a strategy, and presenting that thinking to them yourself. These are founders and owner-operators, not marketing departments.
- From there you write the briefs, grounded in what actually performs on the platform rather than what presents well in a deck, and you get the work made.
- You source the freelancers, hold them to their deadlines, manage the budget, and act as the quality gate on what comes back, including calling the revisions.
- Then you read the results. You will work directly with our media buyer, and you need to know enough about media buying to interpret what the numbers are telling you and iterate on the designs that are winning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What we need you to bring
- You do not need to be a designer or an editor by trade. You do need to source good freelancers, hold them accountable, and know quality when you see it. AI has made a lot of this easier, so we would expect you to handle light image editing yourself rather than sending it out.
- Direct response experience. Our clients pay for leads and sales measured on cost per result, so the work that counts is ads with a CPA, CPL or ROAS attached to them. Brand and awareness work is a different muscle, and it is not the one we are short of.
- Our clients are budget-conscious and unglamorous. Think three thousand dollar creative rounds, not eight-figure brands. If you need a big budget to do good work, we are the wrong shop.
One hard requirement
You need to be able to point us at a Meta or TikTok ad you produced or sourced: the brand name, roughly when it ran, and a link if you have one.
Terms
- 10 to 20 hours a week to start, at $70 to $100 an hour.
- Remote, wherever you are, with meaningful overlap with US business hours. Our baseline is that you acknowledge a message within two to three hours during the working day, Eastern. That is acknowledgment, not turnaround: nobody expects you to drop a project to answer, and things come up, which is fine as long as we hear about them in advance rather than after. Clients feel silence more than they feel a delay.
- We are hiring for a long-term relationship. As the client book grows this role grows, in hours and in scope.

Who this is not for
If you need someone to set your priorities, or to review your drafts before they go out, this is not the role. We are hiring to take creative off our plate, not to supervise it.
To apply
Apply here with your resume or profile, and answer the questions on the application. If your background looks like a fit, we will come back to you with a short next step, about 15 minutes of your time, that stands in for a first-round interview.
