I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll set the formats, the hooks, the visual language — the standard that 500+ creators shoot to, across BD's channels and our clients'. You'll read what the platform is telling you — saves, shares, watch-through — and turn that signal straight into creative decisions.
You'll work daily with creators, editors, and AI content pipelines. And the two sides of the job feed each other: the formats that prove out on BD's own channels become the exact work clients pay for.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Set creative direction across owned channels and client campaigns — formats, hooks, visual language, edit standards
- Be the reference point for what good looks like — in all social-first content, full stop
- Lead creative on client work end to end — concepts, treatments, direction from brief through delivery
- Turn platform signals into creative decisions, every week — not quarterly reviews, real-time reads
- Invent, test, and retire vertical formats — with a written verdict on every experiment, win or lose
- Brief and direct creators — so their work hits the bar and still sounds like them
- Build the network of personality-led creators — the people, not just the content
- Ship AI-assisted format experiments, monthly — this role moves at that pace
- Set edit standards with the editor team — and review the flagship cuts yourself
- Present creative to clients — bring platform-native thinking straight into the pitch

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 6+ years making and directing social-first content — with vertical work you can tie directly to performance, not just views
- A format or series you invented that others copied — proof you set trends, not just followed them
- Real fluency in platform behavior — you read the signals, you don't guess at them
- Experience briefing and directing independent creators — and a creator network you built or grew yourself
- Client-facing creative experience — you can hold the room, not just make the work
- Deep fluency across the creator landscape — who's rising, who's overexposed, who's worth the call
- Daily use of AI tools — this is how the work gets made here
- Able to work fully remote — with working overlap across UK and Dubai teams, plus international travel opportunity for shoots
