Creative PR & Campaigns Manager

📍 Manchester

đź’¸ OTE circa ÂŁ54,900 based on historic average bonus payout
🏢 Predominantly office-based

This isn’t a traditional PR Manager role.

We’re looking for someone who comes up with the idea in the first place, then works out how to bring it to life across PR, social, live activations, digital and the venue itself.

We’re working with a brilliant hospitality and entertainment business looking for a Creative PR & Campaigns Manager to help keep one of its flagship brands interesting, surprising and talked about.

They don’t want someone who sits in a brainstorm, comes up with an idea and hands it over to somebody else.

They want someone who can think creatively and make things happen.

The role

There’s a packed calendar of major campaigns, events, seasonal moments and launches throughout the year, with bigger creative campaigns typically landing every six to eight weeks.
You’ll be right at the heart of them.

Working alongside an in-house designer, videographer, entertainment team and wider marketing team, you’ll develop ideas that can live across multiple channels rather than simply producing another marketing campaign that looks like everybody else’s.

That could be a PR-able stunt, a live activation, an interesting partnership, a social idea, a cultural moment or a bigger integrated campaign.

Ideally, it’s an idea that can stretch across all of them.

You’ll also manage the external PR agency day to day, making sure there’s a strong story behind the activity and giving them campaigns genuinely worth talking about.

Most importantly, you’ll see your ideas through.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
