Description

At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It’s why we work with some of the world’s leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

About This Role

We're seeking a Creative Producer on an 18-month fixed-term contract to develop and produce an innovative fiction audio experience for an upcoming Audible Original title. This is a dedicated, time-bound production role: you will take this project from early development through to final delivery within the contract period, after which the completed work will be handed over to the permanent Content team.

Reporting to the Content Innovation Lead, you will be a hands-on creative who brings this project to life through emerging production methodologies and technologies.

This position exists to deliver a specific Audible Original title that requires specialist creative production expertise during its development and production phase and is not an ongoing support role. The 18-month contract reflects the defined lifecycle of this project — from concept development through final delivery.

About You

You're as comfortable in a writers' room as you are experimenting with new tools, and you see technology not as a constraint but as a creative canvas. You’re equally at home managing production schedules, tracking budgets, and keeping complex workflows on course — bringing the same rigour to a delivery timeline as you do to a storyline. You have a bias toward action, a love of narrative craft, and the instinct to make things that haven't been made before.

As a Creative Producer, you will...

  • Develop and produce the upcoming Audible Original title from concept through to a fully delivered audio experience within the contract period
  • Collaborate with writers, production talent, and technologists to build immersive narrative experiences — for this specific production
  • Manage talent and production partner engagements for this production, including offers and contracting
  • Work with internal technical partners to bring creative concepts to life through new technological capabilities
  • Manage creator relationships with sensitivity and craft, building trust with talent across a range of comfort levels with new technology
  • Prototype and experiment rapidly alongside the Content Innovation team, testing creative concepts before committing to full production
  • Manage production quality, budget, and schedule across the title's concurrent workstreams, ensuring milestones are met within the 18-month timeline
  • Incorporate listener research and feedback to iterate and refine experiences — ahead of final delivery
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders across production, marketing, and PR to ensure launch readiness
  • At the conclusion of this contract, deliver all final production assets, documentation, vendor relationships, and workflows to the permanent Content team via a structured handover

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
