Goalhanger is one of the UK’s most exciting independent media companies, the team behind some of the world’s most successful shows, including The Rest Is Politics, The Rest Is History, The Rest Is Football, The Rest Is Entertainment, and a fast-growing slate. We’re a creative, fast-moving organisation with big ambitions and a brilliant team that makes them happen.
This role is based full time (5 days a week) in our office in Oval.
£50,000 - £55,000 OTE
The Role
We’re looking for a Creative Producer to support the delivery of high-quality branded commercial content across our podcast network. This is a video-led creative role for someone who combines speed with taste, and can lead on how strong commercial ideas are shaped, refined, and delivered inside premium, talent-led shows.
You’ll work with a team of Creative Producers and Video Editors, working closely with podcast show producers, and the wider commercial team to help ensure branded work feels native to each Goalhanger show, enjoyable for audiences, and effective for partners. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation and collaboration are key.
What you’ll do:
- Support the creative delivery of commercial campaigns, helping turn agreed client objectives into engaging content that feels authentic to the tone, talent and audience of each Goalhanger show.
- Work closely with clients and the Account Management team throughout delivery, developing and presenting creative ideas, treatments, scripts and social concepts, providing clear creative rationale, and guiding feedback through to final execution while keeping campaigns on track and expectations aligned.
- Act as the creative bridge between clients, podcast hosts and production teams, ensuring brand objectives are effectively integrated while maintaining the authenticity of each show.
- Take client ideas and campaign requirements and translate them into compelling formats, narratives and executions across podcasts, YouTube, social and wider digital platforms.
- Write copy and develop creative treatments for ads, social content, video, podcast integrations and wider commercial shoots.
- Support the development of new commercial content formats that make the most of Goalhanger’s IP, talent and cross-platform audiences.
- Stay close to emerging formats, internet culture, creators and platform trends, bringing new ideas and inspiration into commercial campaigns and identifying opportunities for brands to engage audiences in fresh ways.
- Help test and develop new creative approaches, using audience and campaign learnings to improve and evolve future formats.
- Support the end-to-end production of commercial content, including scheduling, budgeting, bookings, talent coordination and shoots at the Goalhanger studio and across UK and international locations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
