About the role
Petre Productions is looking for a freelance Creative Producer / Videographer to help produce UGC, organic content, social-first content, and paid social ads for brands.
This role is for someone who is comfortable doing more than simply operating a camera. You should be able to take a creative brief or script, understand what the content needs to achieve, plan the shoot, direct talent, and capture strong footage that feels native to platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Strong camera skills are required, but you also need to be highly confident filming on an iPhone, as the majority of our shoots are captured on mobile to maintain a natural, social-first UGC style.
A big part of the role will involve working with actors, creators, and members of the public, so you need to be confident communicating with people and getting natural performances on camera.
What you’ll be doing
- Turning briefs and scripts into practical shoot plans
- Filming UGC, social ads, street interviews, and branded content
- Directing actors, creators, and contributors during shoots
- Helping develop creative ideas, hooks, and filming approaches
- Making sure all required shots, hooks, variations, and supporting footage are captured
- Reviewing footage during shoots to make sure we have everything required
- Helping improve the overall quality and efficiency of our productions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
