Who We Are

Be part of a bold new chapter in content creation through a ground-breaking collaboration between M&S and Production Factory. Together, we’re launching a dynamic new creative hub at the iconic Big Sky Studios – a purpose-built space to spark imagination, foster creativity and deliver excellence. This is more than a job; it’s a rare opportunity to help shape the visual identity of one of Britain’s best-loved brands.

Role Overview

The Creative Production Assistant at Production Factory will support the Producers who are responsible for delivering the planning weekly e-commerce and digital shoots for the M&S team. This role requires an understanding of the workflows and timelines involved in producing high-quality brand assets, from concept to final delivery. You will be expected to assist Producers in managing weekly planning for shoots, collaborate with internal and external teams, plus support with admin tasks and physical duties around the studio.

Please note: due to the nature of our business, we are based in the studio 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with M&S, internal teams and freelancers (art directors, stylists, samples teams, photographers, DOPs, HMUA, retouchers, editors etc.) and assist them on all tasks as directed by the production team.
  • Help to manage the workflow process; from delivery of samples > product shoots > colour matching in retouch > model shoots > post-production > final delivery of assets.
  • Support the samples team where necessary with the flow of samples throughout the pre-production and the shoot process. Support styling during shoot days and ensure samples are prepped, steamed and ready for shooting.
  • Assist Producers with the creation and updates to production schedules, booking forms, call sheets and trackers as instructed.
  • Assist styling teams if necessary, during prep days so that looks are complete for model shoots prior to shooting.
  • Where necessary, attend weekly planning and status meetings with the Lead Creative Producer, producers and team managers to ensure all teams are aligned, and all deliverables are on track.
  • Assist Producers with bookings for freelancers; models, stylists, photographers and hair & make-up artists, along with their travel, accommodation (if necessary) and catering arrangements.
  • Oversee administrative tasks with guidance from Producers, including processing invoices, issuing POs, updating the financial tracker, and ensuring all necessary documents (e.g., booking forms/contracts/call sheets/travel) are in place for freelancers and models.
  • Assist with on-set coordination to keep production running smoothly and on schedule to ensure shoot targets are met. Ensure clients, crew and models are well looked after throughout the day, with all drinks and catering, studio supplies taken care of.
  • Assist with booking and delivery/collection of equipment, set builds, props and anything else that is required for shoots.
  • Ensure the studio environment is kept tidy, safe, and well-managed, supporting the Head of Production, Ops & HR teams to manage health and safety policies during shoots.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in creative production, bring fresh ideas to the team to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Be available to work for blocks of days associated with the scheduled shoots to deliver the seasonal collection in time for product launch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
