Overview
At Gallagher, our Marketing Studio is an in-house agency supporting teams across the business with creative, digital, web, marketing automation and video production services.
We're looking for a Creative Resource Manager to help our creative teams do their best work. This is a people-focused role at the heart of a busy and growing creative function.
You'll work closely with Creatives, Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Project Managers and Account Managers to ensure the right work is assigned to the right people at the right time.
This isn't a traditional project management role. It's about understanding people, balancing workloads, building trusted relationships and helping creative teams work effectively and sustainably.

- Allocate creative work across Designers, Art Directors and Copywriters based on skills, capacity and project needs.
- Build strong relationships with creative team members and develop a deep understanding of their strengths, development goals and working styles.
- Monitor active projects and adjust resource plans as priorities change.
- Balance workloads to help prevent bottlenecks, overload and burnout.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers and Creative Leaders to support successful project delivery.
- Identify potential resource risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Help ensure creative talent is matched to projects where they can make the greatest impact.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to enhance processes and ways of working.
- Use project and resource data to support planning and future decision-making.
- Act as an advocate for the creative team, helping ensure their expertise, capacity and wellbeing are considered in project planning.
This is a role with genuine influence. You'll help shape how work is delivered across a growing global creative team.
About You
- Experience managing resources across creative teams, such as Designers, Art Directors, Copywriters or similar creative disciplines.
- A strong understanding of creative workflows, production processes and how creative work moves through delivery.
- Experience assessing workloads, capacity and utilisation, and making resource decisions to keep projects on track.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with creative professionals and understand individual strengths, working styles and development areas.
- Experience working closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, Creative Leads or Creative Directors.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge priorities, manage competing demands and influence decisions when needed.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced agency, studio or in-house creative environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and resource requirements simultaneously.

- Experience using Adobe Workfront or a similar resource and workflow management platform.
- Experience in a global or multi-team creative environment.
- Knowledge of workload forecasting, utilisation reporting and capacity planning.
- Previous experience in creative operations or studio management.
- A background in design, production or another creative discipline.
