About The Role

LMG Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a fast-growing digital agency in the eCommerce space to find a Creative Strategist with deep UI/UX expertise and a sharp design eye. This is a hands-on, client-facing design role focused on delivering exceptional Shopify site experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong eCommerce design experience, a passion for quality, and the ability to balance strategy with execution. You'll play a key role in delivering visually polished, conversion-optimized web experiences for DTC brands, working alongside developers, project managers, and creative stakeholders.

Requirements

Creative Vision and Strategy

  • Help set the creative bar across projects, with a focus on user experience, brand alignment, and modern UI design
  • Contribute visual direction for both custom and theme-based Shopify builds
  • Own QA of visual assets, ensuring consistency, spacing, and layout meet internal standards

Design Ownership

  • Work on 6-8 active design projects in collaboration with project managers and developers
  • Support implementation of best practices in visual design and responsive layout
  • Collaborate with other creatives and cross-functional teams to align on timelines, goals, and project scope
  • Provide guidance on reusable design components, patterns, and design systems

Client Collaboration

  • Participate in early-stage planning and creative ideation sessions with client teams
  • Support visual design presentations and communicate design rationale effectively
  • Translate client brand guidelines and business goals into high-performing visual outcomes
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure creative alignment throughout

Workflow, QA, and Tools

  • Use Figma, Asana, and Slack to manage design handoff, collaboration, and feedback
  • Conduct final design QA before development begins, ensuring pixel-perfect results
  • No coding required, but experience with Shopify theme structure (drag-and-drop) is preferred

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of UI/UX design experience in a high-volume agency or eCommerce setting
  • Portfolio showcasing high-quality DTC or eCommerce website work
  • Experience designing for Shopify or similar platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, WordPress)
  • Strong skills in Figma and modern design QA techniques
  • Able to manage projects independently and take full ownership of design delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction
  • Deep attention to visual detail, brand consistency, and layout precision

Working Hours & Collaboration

This is a remote contractor role working London business hours (10 AM - 6 PM GMT). The ideal candidate will have some overlap with teams based in the UK, EU, and North America.
