About the role

We are looking for a Creative Strategist who can bridge the gap between big-picture thinking and brilliant copy. This role is a blend of creative concepting, client collaboration, and hands-on writing.

Around 70% of your time will be spent leading client workshops, shaping strategy, and brainstorming with the creative team, while 30% is dedicated to crafting high-level copy. You will guide B2B clients, some of whom are naturally cautious, to embrace bold creative ideas that connect directly to their commercial goals.

In addition to your strategic work, you will already have a direct report, making you a key mentor for our junior creative talent. If you enjoy a dynamic workday that shifts between collaborative brainstorming, coaching, and sharp writing, this role offers the variety and creative freedom you need.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead B2B clients on a creative journey, guiding them from a blank sheet of paper to a clear, bold campaign direction.
  • Generate a continuous flow of original ideas and campaign concepts across diverse B2B industries, from highly technical fields to creative niches.
  • Write high-level copy, including campaign narratives, messaging frameworks, ad copy, and headlines.
  • Act as a dedicated mentor to a junior copywriter, providing constructive feedback, setting high standards, and helping them grow.
  • Pitch creative concepts to clients and senior stakeholders, winning them over with clear commercial logic and engaging storytelling.
  • Manage a varied daily schedule, shifting easily between workshops, team collaboration, and focused writing sessions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
