Creative Strategist + Paid Social Executive Role
Remote | Full-Time | UK Only | £28,000 - £35,000
About Velocity
Velocity is a boutique performance marketing agency built for emerging eCommerce brands ready to scale.
We specialise in Meta and Google paid media, creative-led performance strategy, and structured testing frameworks.
We’re not a set-and-forget agency. We operate with discipline, ownership, and high standards - and we believe paid social and creative strategy should work together, not as separate functions.
The person managing an account should understand why creative is working, what needs to be made next, and how that connects directly to performance.
The Role
We’re looking for a Paid Social Executive & Creative Strategist to join Velocity and work across a portfolio of eCommerce brands.
This is a hybrid role combining Meta media buying with performance creative strategy.
You’ll own the day-to-day management of Meta accounts while also taking responsibility for the creative strategy behind them - analysing performance, researching competitors and customers, developing new concepts, briefing creatives, and turning winning ads into further iterations.
This isn’t a role where you simply launch campaigns and monitor ROAS.
We want someone who can understand why performance is changing and what needs to happen next. Sometimes that’s a budget or structural change.
More often than not, it’s better creative.
What You’ll Be Doing
Paid Social
- Own and manage Meta advertising across a portfolio of eCommerce brands
- Plan, launch and optimise campaigns
- Build clean, scalable account structures
- Manage budgets and pacing
- Scale winning campaigns and identify inefficient spend
- Manage audience exclusions, catalogue and DPA activity
- Build structured testing roadmaps
- Monitor performance and make evidence-led decisions
Creative Strategy
- Own the creative direction behind the Meta accounts you manage
- Analyse winning and underperforming creative to understand why it performed
- Identify winning personas, hooks, messaging angles and formats
- Spot creative fatigue and gaps in the creative mix
- Turn performance insights into clear creative hypotheses
- Develop new concepts and structured iterations of winning ads
- Ensure creative production is driven by data rather than guesswork
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
