Company Description

CAB – The Customer Acquisition Agency designs unified acquisition engines that connect search, social, and brand activity to reduce demand leakage and lower acquisition costs. The agency focuses on meaningful growth metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost, Lifetime Value, and overall demand flow rather than vanity metrics. By combining demand intelligence with precise creative execution, CAB helps brands convert more customers profitably while improving retention and long-term value. The team partners with commercially focused B2C brands across verticals including retail and D2C, hospitality, health and wellness, membership and subscription, leisure, insurance, and home services. Each partnership is tailored to the unique acquisition challenges of the vertical, with bespoke engines built accordingly.

Role Description

The Creative Strategist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Alcester, with great flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for developing insight-driven creative strategies that align with client growth objectives and CAB’s demand-led approach. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Analysing customer journeys and demand signals
  • Translating research and performance data into sharp creative concepts
  • Collaborating closely with account, media, and design teams to build cohesive campaigns

The Creative Strategist will craft compelling narratives and messaging across channels, guide creative direction in brainstorming and production, and ensure all work reinforces brand positioning while driving measurable acquisition outcomes. The role also involves:

  • Presenting strategic recommendations to clients
  • Refining creative frameworks based on test results
  • Contributing to CAB’s methodology and best practices

Qualifications

  • Strong creative leadership capabilities, with skills in Creative Direction and Creative Strategy to shape concepts that drive customer acquisition.
  • Experience developing and articulating Brand Strategy, including positioning, messaging frameworks, and audience segmentation.
  • Excellent Writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and brand-consistent copy for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Proficient in Research, including qualitative and quantitative methods, competitive analysis, and insight generation from performance data.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance-focused or growth marketing environments, ideally with B2C brands.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data and experimentation to refine creative and strategic decisions.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with digital channels (paid social, search, CRM) and how creative influences acquisition metrics such as CAC and LTV.
