Creative Strategist for 45+ Homeowners Audience

A fast-growing DTC hardware brand is rebuilding its entire creative engine from the ground up. Revenue is up close to 8x over the past year, and the team is now splitting into dedicated creative pods, each running its own tests, its own editors, and its own numbers to hit.

This Creative Strategist role will lead their first internal pods. You'll dig into a very specific audience (homeowners 45+), turn that research into scripts, briefs, and concepts across TOF, MOF, and BOF.

You'll own the pod, brief the team, read the numbers daily, and adjust fast.

This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role.

What's in it for you

  • Ownership: Lead your own creative pod, editors, designer, and UGC manager included
  • Growth path: Senior Creative Strategist to Creative Lead, with Head of Performance down the line
  • Direct access: Strategy calls straight with founders and the Creative Lead, no layers
  • Performance bonuses: Tied to the spend and ROAS your winners produce
  • Flexible hours and fully remote: Work when it works, as long as the pod delivers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you're getting into

  • Own a full creative pod (editors, designer, UGC manager) and carry full accountability for what it ships and how it performs
  • Dig deep into a specific 45+ homeowner audience, pull real language and insights, and turn them into TOF, MOF, and BOF concepts that actually move numbers
  • Write high-converting Copy for VSLs, advertorials, and Listicles.
  • Write clear, specific briefs across video, static, and UGC that an editor or creator can execute without needing to guess
  • Review first cuts, give precise and fast feedback, and keep quality and pace high across the pod
  • Read performance data daily, write learnings, and feed them straight back into the next round of briefs
  • Run standups when performance dips, figure out why fast, and adjust the plan
  • Join strategy calls with founders, the Creative Lead, and the Head of Performance to align on angles, funnels, and testing priorities
  • Report weekly on batches launched, winners, hit rate, and what's being tested next
  • Build cold, top-of-funnel storytelling from the ground up, since the current library leans heavily BOF and review-style

  • You write hooks, scripts, and CTAs tailored to specific awareness stages, not generic templates
  • You have a sharp eye for edit and design quality, and can give feedback precise enough that a first revision is usually the last one

  • You're fluent with AI tools for research, ideation, and first drafts, and comfortable working inside a structured task system like ClickUp
