Company Overview

Campfire is an award-winning Social first digital agency, founded on values of Honesty & Integrity, Exceeding Expectations, and First Principle Thinking. Holding some of the world’s leading brands on our client roster, we pride ourselves on innovating and creating performance-driving firsts for our clients.

We believe in meritocracy. If you want to work for an agency who will invest in you and your career, Campfire is the right place for those willing to step up and deliver as part of the team and for our clients. With quarterly PDPs rather than annual, your career can move as quickly as you do.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Creative Strategist to join our Creative Strategy team: the people who turn insight into bold ideas for some of the biggest names in beauty and FMCG, then build the thinking that keeps those ideas intact all the way to execution.

You'll have a sharp instinct for brand challenges within social and culture, and the confidence to read between the lines of a brief. You'll lead ideation sessions, write creative concepts that get teams excited, and build strategies that actually use the strengths of the platforms they're designed for, backed by a good grip on the data and measurement behind them.

What are the key responsibilities for the role?

  • Develop strategies that use insight, data, and cultural understanding to solve the real client problem, not just the brief as written
  • Lead ideation and brainstorm sessions, creating an environment that encourages bold thinking and challenges safe ideas as they come up in the room
  • Write clear, inspiring creative concepts and craft the narratives that sell an idea internally and to clients
  • Adapt strategy to the strengths of different platforms and channels, rather than treating them all the same
  • Help define clear objectives and a simple measurement framework for campaigns at the outset
  • Support on bigger projects and lead smaller ones end to end, from insight through to finished strategy
  • Act as an ideas and insight consultant on new business pitches, feeding in strong thinking and creative territory when asked
  • Track industry and market trends, and start suggesting improvements to how the team works
  • Analyse how creative is performing against strategy, working with Delivery and Client Services to spot what's working and what needs to change
  • Support present-backs to clients and help maintain strong client relationships through clear, consistent communication
  • Keep the agency ahead of platform, format, and cultural shifts, bringing fresh thinking back to the team
  • Start supporting the development of junior members of the team, and be a go-to source of guidance for colleagues across the wider business, sharing feedback and knowledge wherever it's useful

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Required Skills For Our Team

  • A genuine obsession with internet culture, and the confidence to challenge a brief or an assumption when it doesn't stack up
  • A strong grip on cultural trends, platform nuance, and what actually makes content work
  • The ability to spot the right trend, tension, or insight for the right brand, and build an idea on it
  • A first-principles thinker: always asking why before jumping to how, and quick to challenge a standard approach that's stopped working
  • Comfortable sourcing and interpreting data across more than one source, confident spotting the patterns that matter, and using what you find to sharpen a strategy, a brief, or a measurement plan
  • Confident presenting ideas and strategy, both internally and to clients
  • A genuinely collaborative approach, proactive about sharing what you know and bringing other people into an idea
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A genuinely innovative mindset, not content with the way something's always been done and quick to suggest a better way of doing it
  • A proactive, curious, and solutions-focused approach
  • Collaborate confidently across Delivery, Client Services, and other departments, look for ways to bring colleagues behind an idea, and share knowledge proactively rather than only when asked
  • Previous experience in strategy or creative at a social marketing agency, or brand environment
