About the Role

We're looking for a performance-minded Creative Strategist to join our growing creative team. This person will bridge research, strategy, copy, and performance data - turning customer insights and campaign results into winning ad concepts and clear creative direction for production.

You'll work closely with media buyers, designers, video editors, and content creators to develop, test, learn, and scale high-performing paid social creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep customer, market, competitor, product, and ad research to uncover pain points, desires, objections, motivations, and new creative opportunities.
  • Turn research insights into strong direct-response angles, ad concepts, hooks, offers, and creative hypotheses for testing.
  • Write performance-focused ad scripts for UGC, creator-led, product-focused, mashup, VSL, and other short-form paid social formats.
  • Create clear creative briefs that give editors, designers, and content creators everything they need to execute the concept correctly.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure the original strategy, hook, message, and desired customer response are preserved in the final creative.
  • Monitor campaign and creative performance and understand the key metrics behind each ad, including CTR, CPA, ROAS, CVR, CPC, hook rate, hold rate, and spend.
  • Analyze winning and losing creatives to diagnose why they performed the way they did - not just whether they won or lost.
  • Use performance data to iterate on winners, fix weak concepts, generate new variations, and continuously improve future creative output.
  • Maintain a structured creative testing pipeline so the team always knows what is being tested, what has been learned, and what should be produced next.
  • Stay current with paid social trends, competitor activity, platform changes, new creative formats, and emerging patterns in DTC advertising.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
