Creative Strategist for EU DTC Company
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Strategist for EU DTC Company based in United Kingdom.
This role is designed for a creative thinker who combines data-driven insights with strong strategic execution to drive paid social growth.
You will own the creative experimentation process, from market research and ideation to briefing, testing, and performance analysis.
The position offers the opportunity to shape how creative decisions are made and directly influence business outcomes.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, content, and external creative partners.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where experimentation, innovation, and measurable impact are key.
This is a high-ownership role for someone passionate about building scalable creative systems and discovering winning advertising strategies.
Accountabilities
The Creative Strategist will be responsible for:
- Leading the full paid social creative testing pipeline and developing strategies that improve campaign performance through continuous experimentation.
- Owning the end-to-end paid social experimentation process, from research and hypothesis creation to creative testing and iteration.
- Developing performance-driven creative concepts based on customer insights, market trends, competitor analysis, and campaign data.
- Building and managing a structured creative testing roadmap, prioritizing experiments based on expected business impact.
- Creating detailed creative briefs for video editors, designers, UGC creators, content creators, and influencers, including messaging, hooks, audiences, references, and testing objectives.
- Producing and managing multiple creative experiment briefs weekly while ensuring quality and strategic alignment.
- Analyzing creative performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, hold rate, conversion rate, messaging effectiveness, creative formats, talent performance, and audience segments.
- Translating performance insights into actionable recommendations and future testing opportunities.
- Conducting ongoing research into competitors, consumer behavior, emerging trends, and advertising best practices across Meta and TikTok.
- Collaborating with internal creative teams, marketing specialists, agencies, and production partners to ensure successful execution of creative initiatives.
- Managing creative production workflows and supporting the delivery of assets aligned with strategic goals.
- Building repeatable experimentation processes that improve creative performance and scalability over time.

Requirements:
- Strong background in creative strategy, paid social advertising, and performance marketing within a fast-growing digital commerce environment, with the ability to combine creativity, analytical thinking, and execution.
- 3+ years of experience in Creative Strategy, Performance Marketing, or Paid Social roles within a DTC or eCommerce environment.
- Proven experience developing and optimizing creative strategies for Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of direct-response advertising principles and social-first creative formats.
- Experience analyzing campaign data and turning insights into clear creative direction.
- Ability to write detailed and actionable creative briefs for designers, editors, creators, and influencers.
- Deep understanding of UGC content and performance creative best practices.
- Experience managing creative agencies and/or UGC production platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and experiments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Experience with subscription-based eCommerce brands is a plus.
- Familiarity with creative research tools, Meta Ad Library, and competitor analysis methods is preferred.
- Understanding of landing page optimization and creative-to-funnel alignment is an advantage.
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com is beneficial.
- Knowledge of AI tools for creative ideation and research, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity, is a plus.
