Do you live and breathe creator culture?

Can you turn insight, data and a rough brief into a story a brand can't say no to? If you think in evidence, angles and narrative, we should talk.

At GIFTA, gifting is never just logistics. It's strategy, it's culture, and it's the difference between a product that gets posted and one that gets ignored. We're looking for a sharp, fast-thinking mind to shape the proposals and storytelling that win new business and keep our existing clients growing.

About GIFTA

GIFTA is the UK's leading influencer gifting company, connecting brands with nano and micro creators for genuine, unscripted content. We've worked with 170+ brands including L'Oréal, Unilever, P&G, Adidas, Kellogg's and Heinz, and we pioneered the first chilled and frozen product distribution for influencers.

Role: Proposals & Storytelling Strategist

  • Type: Freelance / day rate (with potential to grow into a longer-term role)
  • Location: London. Hybrid, with some days in our Shoreditch office
  • Working with: The new-business and account teams

What you'll do.....

Shape the narrative with insight

  • Bring the outside in. Industry trends, competitor activity, external data and creator-culture signals, all turned into a point of view that makes GIFTA's proposals sharper and more credible than anyone else's
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the landscape: what competitors are pitching, what's shifting in the creator world, trending formats, TikTok hooks, changing Instagram aesthetics, and feed that into the thinking

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Win new business

  • Turn client briefs into compelling, well-structured proposals with clear thinking, sharp narrative, and gifting mechanics that make sense for the brand
  • Lead the storytelling: build the "why gifting, why now" case so the value lands with brands and agencies who don't yet get it
  • Bring the ideas. Campaign concepts, creative hooks and seeding angles that make our proposals stand out from the templated stuff everyone else sends

Grow existing business

  • Dig into data from previous campaigns to help build renewal, upsell and cross-sell cases for existing clients, reading what the results are telling us and turning it into a forward-looking story the account teams can take to the client
  • Work alongside the account teams to spot where there's room to grow an account, and give them the insight and narrative to make the case land

Work at pace

  • Turn briefs around quickly and collaboratively, without losing polish. You take a brief and run

The ideal profile

  • You've got a few years in an agency environment, whether influencer, social, creative or PR, and you've had a hand in proposals, pitches or decks you're proud of
  • You're comfortable with data and insight: you can read campaign results and market data, spot the angle, and turn numbers into a story (you interpret and narrate the data; building measurement systems from scratch isn't the focus here)
  • You can write. You turn dense briefs and dry data into clear, persuasive narrative without drowning it in jargon
  • You genuinely get creator culture and the nano/micro world, not just the theory
  • You're quick, curious, self-directed and easy to work with. You take a brief and run with it
  • You're comfortable freelancing and happy to commit to a reliable weekly rhythm with us

The set-up

  • Retained day-rate freelance, with a genuine route into a permanent or expanded role as we grow
  • Flexible working, with some days in our brand-new London office
  • A team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously (weekly lunches and socials included when you're in)
