Role Overview

Between 50 and 100 new concepts are tested here every week. Somebody has to decide what they are.

That's this role. You'll sit on the performance data, work out what's actually driving profitable spend, then decide what gets made next: the angle, the avatar, the hook, the offer framing, the brief. You own the thinking behind it and the call on what scales, what gets iterated and what dies.

This is a full-time, fully remote contractor role.

What's in it for you

  • Very high autonomy. You propose and prioritise, you don't wait for a brief.
  • Volume to learn from. 50 to 100 concepts in a test every week.
  • Real upside for performance. Results feed straight into what you earn.
  • A route to CMO. That's the stated path for strong performers.
  • Fully remote, with every SaaS tool you need paid for.
  • Unlimited training and consults, plus a team event somewhere sunny.
  • Onboarding that isn't guesswork. 30/60/90 plan, master resource doc, full winning-ad library.

What you're getting into

  • Own the testing roadmap. You decide what gets made next and you explain the reasoning behind it, using data and research rather than instinct alone.
  • Pull apart winners and losers in the data and be able to say exactly why each one did what it did, at hook, hold and CPA level.
  • Research customers, competitors and markets properly. New angles, avatars, pain points and mechanisms come out of that work, not out of a brainstorm.
  • Write the hooks, copy direction and briefs that editors and designers can execute without chasing you for clarification.
  • Direct video editors and designers day to day, then QA what comes back against the brief and give feedback sharp enough to be useful.
  • Work across the formats that win here: UGC and storytelling, long-form direct-response video, native advertorials, statics, list and myth angles.
  • Extend winners into new angles, avatars and formats so a single concept keeps earning rather than burning out after two weeks.
  • Watch for fatigue and replace winners before performance falls off, instead of reacting once the numbers drop.
  • Work off live performance feedback from the media buying side, using the Monday call, Slack and full data access to decide what gets scaled, iterated or killed.
  • Lift creative win rate and longevity over time, and help improve the pipeline itself as testing volume scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
