Peachies is The Grocer Start-Up of the Year 2025.
We've scaled fast, and our creative output has scaled with us - but the system that turns "this ad did well" into something the whole team can actually learn from doesn't exist yet. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Creative Strategist who's ready to build it.
The Role
You'll sit at the heart of our growth team, reporting to our Head of Growth and working closely with Brand, Design, Video, and CX. This is a mid-senior individual contributor role with a defined path into people management - but title aside, this is a build-it-yourself role from day one. You won't be handed a system to run; you'll be the one who designs it.
We're a small, mighty, multicultural team based in Hackney. We work hard, we laugh hard, and we genuinely care about getting things right. If you think in both ideas and process, love getting close to data, and want to make your mark on a brand that's going places - read on.
What You'll Own
-
Performance Creative Roadmap
You'll own the end-to-end performance creative roadmap - what gets tested, why, and in what sequence. No more guessing what to try next; you'll be the one setting the plan. -
Testing Framework
You'll build and run the creative testing framework - a proper hook, concept, and format taxonomy that lets performance data be sliced by creative element, not just by ad name. You'll turn learnings into clear, actionable next steps on a regular cadence, and set up systems that double down on what's working automatically, rather than starting from scratch every review.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

-
Creative Pipeline & Process
You'll own the brief-to-asset pipeline - intake, prioritisation, feedback loops, version control — and give the design team a proper process instead of ad hoc asks arriving from five directions at once. You'll also own the process for feeding outside signal into creative direction: reviews, CX conversations, competitor creative, category and platform trends - so creative is built on real customer signal, not internal opinion. -
Platform & Landscape Expertise
You'll bring deep, current Meta creative expertise - formats, Advantage+, what's shifting and what it means for us - and track the wider performance creative landscape to bring outside thinking in. You'll champion AI creative tools to scale production without scaling headcount 1:1. -
Design Team Facilitation
You'll facilitate our designer and video editor's day-to-day - clear briefs, prioritisation, feedback - as the first step towards formally leading them as the function grows. You'll be the on-the-ground creative lead for shoots, translating requirements into briefs across performance, web, and CRM. -
Brand Collaboration
You'll partner with our brand team on brand moments to bring performance and execution instincts to it. You'll set the creative standard our creators and influencers are briefed against.
Where This Goes
We're building this deliberately as a growth role. Over time it's designed to expand into:
- Formal line management of the design team, including capacity planning and resourcing decisions
- Extending brand presence beyond digital into retail and physical environments, as our retail footprint grows
- Owning creative consistency across the full customer journey - paid social, web, CRM, packaging, in-store
- Setting the visual and tonal bar for creators as our community scales
- Ownership of a creative budget - studio days, freelance, tooling

What We're Looking For
You don't need to have done every single thing on this list - but you should recognise yourself in most of it.
- Creative strategy or creative lead experience in a DTC or performance marketing environment - ideally subscription or e-commerce
- A proven track record building and scaling performance creative on Meta specifically, with results to show for it
- Experience building or owning a creative testing framework, not just executing one someone else designed
- Comfortable working close to data - you can read performance numbers well enough to know what's a genuine learning versus noise
- Strong creative direction instincts paired with rigorous process thinking - this is not a purely "ideas" role
- Confident briefing and directing shoots across multiple channels
- A collaborative operator - this role sits between growth, brand, CX, and design, and needs to work well with all of them without needing to own everything
- Familiarity with AI creative generation tools, or a fast learner who'll get there quickly
Life at Peachies
- Hybrid working - we're in our Hackney office regularly but also work remotely
- A team that's multicultural, fun, and genuinely collaborative
- Real ownership and real responsibility - no waiting around for permission
- Room to grow - there's space to develop into people management as Peachies scales
- The chance to build a function from the ground up, at a genuinely pivotal moment in the brand's story
