Role Description
As a Creative Strategist (Volunteer) at Abeyie Innovation UK, you will help define and refine creative and brand directions for initiatives and campaigns. On a day-to-day basis, you will research trends and audiences, develop creative concepts, and write clear, compelling content that aligns with organizational goals. You will collaborate with founders and project teams to translate ideas into strategic creative plans, ensuring consistency across digital and offline touchpoints. This is a volunteer, remote role, offering flexibility and the chance to gain experience in a mission-driven innovation environment while contributing to real-world projects.

Qualifications

- Strong Creative Direction and Creative Strategy skills to shape concepts and guide visual and narrative storytelling.
- Experience with Brand Strategy to support positioning, messaging, and cohesive identity development.
- Experience using creative tools; Adobe suite, Canva, and others.
- Solid Writing skills to produce clear, engaging content for presentations, campaign materials, and communication assets.
- Research skills to analyze audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes that inform strategic recommendations.
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment and collaborating via digital tools.
- Prior experience in innovation, startups, marketing, or creative agencies is beneficial but not required.
- Commitment to inclusive, ethical, and user-centered design and communication practices.
