About us

Who is GBM Group I hear you ask? Well, you probably already know who we are, without realising it!

We own and operate a network of highly-engaged youth communities on social media. We have numerous pages including Great British Memes, That Girl Page, That Student Page and MORE, which across all social channels reach over 500 million every month. The vast majority of our social following also comes from within our home market - the UK.

At GBM, we take pride in what we do and make sure the client's needs are met while considering the needs and wants of our nurtured communities/audiences. All campaigns have a lot of care and attention to detail with nothing going live unless the GBM team are 100% happy with everything. So to sum it up for ya, we are a young start-up who are chronically online making organic and paid memes and video content for the masses… Sound like a bit of you? Read below!

The role

We’re looking for an experienced and social-first Creative who lives and breathes social, storytelling and culture. Someone who can take a spark of an idea and turn it into high-impact campaigns that people want to share, not just scroll past. This is an internal role that will sit as an extension of our Brand & Content team, working closely alongside other creative brains but owning your own projects. In this senior and central role, you’ll lead the creative ideation and pitches - and given full autonomy to lead this process.

Our ideal candidate has a background in content creation (social assets for brands or publishers) ideally within an agency or publisher environment. You’ll have a deep understanding of social media culture, trends, and formats, and bring a minimum of 5 years' experience working in-house or agency side. You live for social, thrive in fast-paced environments, and know how to create content that connects with real audiences.

You’ll work alongside the wider Brand & Content team to deliver branded content for client partnerships, leading across ideation, production and creation while confidently managing your own tasks and timelines. You'll help to shape and deliver creative campaigns and pitches that cut through online noise and drive real impact for brands. From the first brainstorm to the final edit, you’ll be hands-on in bringing in ideas to life across social platforms, branded partnerships and creative projects.

This role blends creative thinking with sharp execution, ideal for someone who can move fluidly between concepting, producing and managing. You’ll be both a creative thinker, copywriter, confident in developing social-first ideas, managing content workflows, shooting and editing assets for campaigns. This role is focused on producing engaging, relatable content, spanning retained clients, branded campaigns, and internal creative projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
