🧠 About Us
Perspective Pictures makes branded videos for the internet. We're 20+ people across East London and Dubai, fully kitted, and we handle everything in-house from the first idea to the final export.
5,000+ videos. 50+ countries. Clients ranging from start-ups nobody's heard of yet to RedBull, LEGO, Adobe, TikTok, and Lululemon.
The mission hasn't changed: make the best, most engaging video content brands can put online.
🎬 The Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll take briefs at the point they're still vague, find the idea inside them, and carry it all the way through to delivery; pitch, prep, shoot, post.
You’ll shape ideas, build treatments, pitch directly to clients, and direct on set with clarity and flair.
🔑 What You'll Be Doing
- Leading creative on major accounts, from interrogating the brief through to signing off the grade.
- Building and delivering pitches that win. You'll be the voice in the room, not the person behind the deck.
- Directing across the full range of what we make: campaign films, social-first series, founder-led content, fast-turnaround formats.
- Setting the visual and tonal direction of a project and holding it — through client feedback, weather, and a schedule that's tighter than you'd like.
- Running sets with authority and calm. Crew, talent, clients, and agency all watching the same monitor.
- Working shoulder to shoulder with your DOP on camera, lighting, and coverage, and with production on where ambition has to meet budget.
- Steering post so the delivered cut is recognisably the thing you sold.
- Mentoring other creatives: reviewing their work, sharpening their pitches, and telling them the truth about both.
- Contributing to how we pitch, price, and position ourselves as a creative business, not just to individual jobs.
- Bringing a point of view on culture, platforms, and formats that shapes where we go next.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

🚀 Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a creative role at a production company, agency, or studio, with a meaningful chunk of that directing.
- A reel that shows range and a recognisable sensibility, not just competence.
- Track record of pitching and winning work at a senior level, including in front of client-side decision makers.
- Comfortable directing at any scale — from a self-shot two-hander to a full crew with stakeholders on set.
- Genuinely good with performance: trained talent, real people, and nervous founders alike.
- Fluent in camera, lens, and lighting language. You can shape a look with your DOP, not just approve one.
- Deep platform literacy across YouTube, TikTok, and Meta, and a clear grasp of how each one changes the way you shoot.
- Commercially aware. You know what a day costs and you design ideas that can actually be made.
- Able to hold several projects at different stages without dropping any of them.
- Generous with credit, direct with feedback, and unbothered about doing the unglamorous parts when it helps the job.

- A growing company with an appetite for bigger, braver projects — including international work out of Dubai.
- Good culture that backs bold ideas and doesn't dilute them on the way to delivery.
- Work seen by millions, on a reel you'll actually want to show people.
