We are looking for a Crèche Assistant to join us in transforming our business from 'good' to 'great'! This is a thrilling time for our company, and we need a key team member like you to help us achieve unprecedented success.
Our ideal candidate!
The ideal person will be energetic and outgoing, previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
As a Crèche Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Providing children with a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment
- Providing parents with accessible childcare whilst they make use of our centre’s facilities
Your Responsibilities?
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment for the children.
- Ensure the safety of the children is never compromised; always follow safeguarding rules and raise any safety or safeguarding concerns to the Crèche Team Leader.
- Supervise the arrival and departure of children from the Crèche.
- Deliver excellent customer service, dealing politely with any comments, queries or complaints and escalating these as appropriate.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the Crèche
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Crèche Team Leader.

Your Qualifications:
- NVQ in Childcare; Level 2 or 3
- Paediatric First Aid – Desirable
Your Skills and competencies:
- Good interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Energy and resilience
- Flexibility and multi-tasking skills
- A customer-focused, approachable and outgoing personality
- Ability to relate to the requirements of children from ages 0 - 5.

This role will be based at Waterlooville but will be expected to travel to other company sites as the need requires.
Interview Process:
- The recruiting manager will review your CV and if shortlisted, you will be invited to a formal interview/assessment process where we will evaluate your suitability for the role.
- The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
