City based International Bank seek an experienced Credit Administration Manager with strong experience in Buy to Let both residential and commercial & SME lending

Previous experience in credit risk, security documentation, security perfection, regulatory and property due diligence requirements is essential

Contract Type: Permanent + Benefits + 5 days on site

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Location: London, City

Industry Experience: Real Estate Finance Loan/Credit Administration from International Banking or Financial Services

You must have full UK working rights non sponsorship role

JOB FUNCTION

  • Manage all aspects of the credit administration processes and ensure the execution of standard processes are met by the team
  • Hands on approach to follow through the cycle from the point of approval to post completion follow up and ongoing facilities servicing.
  • Facilitate the empanelment of solicitors and valuers, maintaining MI and contribute to ongoing process improvement
  • Coach and mentor junior/less experienced staff.
  • Verifying documentation,
  • Work with external solicitors for perfection of security, lease consent, discharge, release, S106 Agreement etc, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders/counterparties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review of all post completion files within a required period of time, ensuring that all limits, interest rates, collateral, and fees have been correctly marked or taken, follow up for perfection of security documents and ensure and to ensure complete security packages are received from solicitors for bank’s safe keeping.
  • To oversee and deliver on service level agreements in respect of Management and Control processes including but not limited to:
    • Limit Input and Update, Interest Rate Changes.
    • Bank, Trade Finance and Islamic Limits.
    • Perfection and Registration of Security, Repayment, discharge and release
    • Dealing with lease consent requests, Dealing and addressing requisition from Auditors.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience (10 + years) in credit administration and process with local banks engaging in Buy to Let (residential and commercial) & SME lending products, working capital facilities and people management.
  • Strong understanding of documentation, security perfection, regulatory and property due diligence requirements
  • Experience of process for risk mitigation & control.
  • Knowledge in Islamic lending is preferred
  • Have thorough understanding of legal conveyancing is also desirable
