Credit Administration Manager – Banking

London - On-Site
Full-Time

We are working with an established international bank that is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Administration Manager to join its London team.

The role will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of lending facilities from credit approval through to completion and ongoing servicing, with a particular focus on property-backed and SME lending.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage credit administration activities from approval through to completion and post-completion.
  • Review facility and security documentation to ensure all approval conditions are satisfied.
  • Maintain credit limits, collateral records, interest rates and other facility information accurately within banking systems.
  • Manage security perfection, ensuring outstanding security documentation and post-completion requirements are completed.
  • Liaise with solicitors, valuers and internal stakeholders throughout the lending and security process.
  • Support property-backed lending, including residential and commercial Buy-to-Let, valuations and ongoing security requirements.
  • Manage ongoing facility servicing, including amendments, repayments, releases and discharges.
  • Monitor insurance, property valuations, limit expiries and other ongoing lending requirements.
  • Support SME lending facilities, including working-capital arrangements.
  • Assist with audit requirements, reporting and the ongoing improvement of Credit Administration processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team where required.

Experience Required

  • Strong experience within Credit Administration, Loan Administration or Lending Operations within a banking environment.
  • Good understanding of loan and security documentation and the credit administration lifecycle.
  • Experience of property-backed lending, ideally including BTL and commercial property.
  • Practical knowledge of security perfection, collateral management and post-completion requirements.
  • Experience liaising with solicitors and valuers.
  • Exposure to SME and/or commercial lending.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple facilities and deadlines.
  • Previous experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Islamic finance products would be advantageous but is not essential.
