About The Role
The company is currently seeking a dedicated Credit Analyst to join their finance team. This pivotal role involves processing credit applications efficiently and accurately to support the company's growth objectives. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, ensuring appropriate credit insurance coverage, and identifying commercial opportunities within credit decisions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and risk management strategies of the organization.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of financial statements and credit assessment processes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with sales teams and other stakeholders. The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel. Experience with credit agency systems such as Experian is desirable. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate credit applications to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Provide timely feedback and performance reports to the sales team regarding credit decisions.
- Maintain and monitor appropriate credit insurance coverage to mitigate potential risks.
- Identify and escalate commercial opportunities arising from credit assessments.
- Generate and analyze reports as required to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare monthly KPI summaries to monitor credit performance and compliance.
- Perform ad hoc duties related to credit management and reporting as assigned by the management team.
