in a fully remote credit role
Join an award-winning Sydney-based mortgage broking firm in a fully remote credit role, with access to a panel of more than 40 lenders and well over a thousand loan products, and a team that wants you to build a long-term career with them.
Role Summary
The Credit Analyst owns the credit side of the loan journey, from assessing client financials and running servicing calculations through to structuring, packaging and lodging applications and managing them to unconditional approval. Day to day you will review income, liabilities, living expenses and credit reports, test borrowing capacity across multiple lenders, research credit policy and product niches, and recommend the best-fit lender and structure for each scenario. You will then prepare complete, compliant applications, order valuations and pricing, and liaise with lenders, assessors and BDMs to keep every file moving. Working closely with the brokers as their analytical engine, you will keep the CRM and file notes accurate so the team always knows exactly where each deal sits, and you will support scenario workshopping across home loans, investment lending, refinances and the occasional commercial deal.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
