Credit Analyst

A leading asset management firm is seeking to hire a Credit Analyst to join the Global Credit team.

The strategy invests across the credit spectrum, with a particular focus on high yield and leveraged loans. The successful candidate will play an active role in assessing corporate credit opportunities, developing differentiated investment views and supporting portfolio decisions across global markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting detailed bottom-up research on high yield and leveraged corporate borrowers across global markets
  • Assessing business models, competitive positioning, earnings quality, leverage, liquidity, cash generation, and capital structures
  • Identifying mispriced credit through fundamental analysis, relative-value work, and assessment of market technicals
  • Developing clear investment theses and communicating the key risks, catalysts, and potential downside associated with individual issuers
  • Following portfolio companies closely and updating views as financial, operational, and market conditions evolve
  • Monitoring sectors, macroeconomic developments, regulation, and other factors capable of influencing credit outcomes
  • Participating in meetings and calls with company management, advisers, and other market participants, preparing focused questions and follow-up analysis
  • Working alongside portfolio managers and other members of the credit team to challenge assumptions and refine investment conclusions
  • Sharing research, market observations, and investment ideas with colleagues across the broader platform

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
