Credit Analyst
We’re working with a leading global asset manager to hire a Credit Analyst into its growing Developed Markets Public Credit group.
Managing AUM in the $billions, the team invests across high yield, leveraged loans, investment grade and structured credit, with high yield at the heart of the investment strategy.
The role will focus on fundamental credit analysis of corporate issuers, identifying attractive investment opportunities across the high yield market and contributing directly to the investment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundamental analysis of high yield corporate issuers across global developed markets, including financials, industry dynamics and company covenants
- Generating investment ideas through analysis of credit fundamentals, relative value and market dynamics
- Working across multiple sectors and regions
- Monitoring industry, regulatory and market developments
- Preparing analysis and questions for meetings with senior corporate management teams
- Sharing investment insights and market views across the wider team

We’re Looking For:
- 3–4 years’ corporate credit analysis experience, ideally within a reputable buy-side or sell-side platform (buy-side preferred)
- Strong financial statement analysis and understanding of credit fundamentals
- Genuine interest in high yield and corporate credit markets
- Experience of covering multiple sectors across developed markets
- Demonstrable interest in investing and financial markets
- Strong academic background
- Some coding experience would be beneficial
- A collaborative approach to working and ability to learn from mistakes
