With 24 offices and more than 370 talented colleagues, we're continuing to grow and we're looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join our busy and friendly Southampton team.

What will you be doing?
As a key member of our Lettings Accounts team, you'll play an important role in keeping our client accounts running smoothly and ensuring landlords, tenants and contractors receive an excellent service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out credit control predominantly by phone and email
- Proactively chasing and following up on rent arrears
- Responding to account and statement queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Accurately allocating payments to the correct accounts
- Preparing and processing landlord disbursements
- Processing payments to contractors for maintenance and repair works
- Ensuring compliance with deposit protection schemes, including TDS and DPS
- Supporting the wider accounts team to maintain accurate and efficient financial processes

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, accurate and confident communicating with people. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a finance-related role, particularly credit control
- Property or lettings industry experience desirable, but not essential
- Experience with property management software such as Fixflow or Reapit beneficial
- Good Excel and general IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage your workload effectively
