The Role
As Credit Control Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for collections, cash allocation, account management, and debt reduction strategies. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you'll play a key role in improving working capital performance while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Credit Controllers
- Drive reduction in aged debt and improve cash collection performance
- Monitor KPIs and produce management reports
- Develop and implement collection strategies and credit policies
- Manage escalated customer queries and payment disputes
- Review customer credit limits and assess potential risks
- Support forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identify and deliver process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

About You
Profile
- Previous experience managing a Credit Control function
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to improve collections and reduce debtor days
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Highly analytical with strong reporting skills
- Experience within a fast-paced environment
- Strong systems and Excel knowledge
