Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Credit Control Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Edinburgh, with a salary of up to £45,000, with hybrid/flexible working along with other benefits.

The Role
The Credit Control Manager will play a key role within the finance function, leading the day-to-day credit control operation while driving performance, developing the team and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

This is a varied leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence both operational performance and the wider finance function. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will help ensure efficient cash collection, strong customer relationships and the continued development of best practice across the department.
The role offers a high level of autonomy, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Control leader looking to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing the Credit Control team.
- Overseeing the day-to-day credit control function and ensuring operational excellence.
- Monitoring team performance, reporting on key metrics and driving continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve complex account queries.
- Reviewing and enhancing credit control processes, controls and ways of working.
- Supporting cash flow management and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Contributing to wider finance projects and business improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage with Credit Control Leaders or Credit Control Managers who are immediately available and can demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Credit Control teams within a fast-paced environment.
- A track record of improving credit control processes, driving operational efficiencies and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience working with a variety of financial systems, alongside excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
