Credit Control & Receivables Lead | Music Industry

£45,000 | Soho, London | Hybrid – 3 days in the office
Flexible working hours

We’re recruiting for a Credit Control & Receivables Lead to join an established music industry organisation that helps ensure artists and rights holders are fairly paid for the use of their recorded music.

This is a hands-on role with ownership of credit control and receivables, responsibility for managing an Accounts Receivable Assistant, and the opportunity to improve how the business collects cash, resolves customer queries, and manages debt.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking ownership of aged debt, collections, and payment plans.
  • Working with colleagues and customers to resolve complex account issues.
  • Overseeing cash allocation, direct debits, reconciliations, and receivables controls.
  • Producing monthly reporting and analysis on collections, debt, and performance.
  • Managing and developing the Accounts Receivable Assistant.
  • Improving systems, reporting, and processes across the receivables function.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong credit control and accounts receivable experience.
  • Confidence handling complex debt queries and building relationships across a business.
  • Experience with month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising colleagues.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using Workday or a comparable finance system.

The role is based in Soho, with three days a week in the office. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours within 8am–6pm.
