Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 17:00

Looking for an opportunity to build something, not just maintain it?

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit someone else's way of doing things.

As part of our continued growth, we're creating a brand-new Credit Control & Sales Ledger Lead position to strengthen our finance function and support the next stage of our journey.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements and making a visible impact. You'll have the chance to shape processes, influence best practice and become the go-to person for credit control and sales ledger activities across the business.

With more than 200 colleagues and a projected turnover of £34 million, this role will play an important part in supporting cash flow, improving financial controls and helping the business continue to grow successfully.

What you'll be doing

As our Credit Control & Sales Ledger Lead, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of credit control and sales ledger activities across the business.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading credit control activities and driving effective debt collection
  • Building positive relationships with customers to resolve outstanding balances
  • Managing aged debt, collection risks and disputed balances
  • Overseeing invoicing, cash allocation, credit notes and account administration
  • Producing debtor reports and supporting month-end reporting requirements
  • Managing customer credit checks, onboarding and credit limits
  • Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
  • Working closely with operational teams to resolve account and invoicing queries
  • Providing insight and support to managers on debtor performance and credit risks
