Position: CREDIT CONTROL SUPERVISOR – 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Location: St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0LT
Salary: £35,000
Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Control Supervisor to work on a 12-month fixed term contract basis to provide support during a period of maternity leave within the Finance department based at the Head Office in St Mellons, Cardiff.
This is a key role that ensures debt levels with local authorities and the NHS are managed effectively and kept to a minimum.

You will be someone who has had previous supervisory experience in a credit control function and is used to supporting a small team giving direction on matters requiring attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring debt levels on a daily basis ensuring invoicing and collection of cash in relation to local authorities and the NHS is carried out on a timely basis.
- Providing direct supervision and support to members of the Credit Control team.
- Liaising with operations staff to ensure resident information is received and complete.
Given the nature of the role this position will be primarily based at the Head Office in St Mellons.

Experience And Skills
You will need:
- Extensive experience of working in a credit control environment in a service sector.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience of working in the care home sector would be beneficial but not essential.
