Global Credit Securities (GCS) is a boutique interdealer broker specializing in Fixed Income Repo markets. With offices in London, Hong Kong, and Geneva, the team operates seamlessly across locations to provide clients with deeper liquidity, sharper market insights, and strict discretion. The firm is focused on achieving better results for clients through highly competitive pricing in Repo markets, including Emerging Markets, Corporates, Government issues, and SSAs. GCS is also actively expanding its presence in local currency Repo, creating opportunities for professionals who want to grow in a specialized, globally connected environment.
Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Credit Controller role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Credit Controller will monitor customer accounts, manage credit limits, and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts to maintain healthy cash flow, reconciling debtor accounts, and resolving payment discrepancies in collaboration with internal traders. The role involves preparing regular credit and collections reports, maintaining up-to-date records, and supporting finance and trading teams with accurate credit information. The Credit Controller will also contribute to the continuous improvement of credit control processes and policies in line with regulatory and company standards.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Control and Credit Management.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Debt Collection and managing Debtors.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Finance and financial reporting related to credit and collections.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant accounting and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Candidates should possess experience in financial services, brokerage, or capital markets; prior exposure to Fixed Income or Repo is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a relevant qualification in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent professional experience.
