Senior Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £24,000–£30,000 (3 days per week) depending on experience

Eiger Securities LLP is an FCA-authorised wholesale fixed income interdealer broker specialising in global credit markets. We work with many of the world's leading investment banks and institutional clients and pride ourselves on providing an exceptional level of service.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to take ownership of our sales ledger and ensure invoices are collected promptly and professionally.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for managing the firm's accounts receivable process from invoice issue through to collection.
This is a standalone role ideally suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership and building efficient credit control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure invoices are issued accurately and promptly.
- Monitor all outstanding invoices and maintain an accurate aged debtors ledger.
- Chase overdue payments by telephone and email.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable departments at major financial institutions.
- Work with front-office brokers where necessary to resolve payment issues.
- Ensure invoices have been received, approved and entered into client payment systems.
- Monitor payment portals including Coupa, SAP Ariba and similar procurement platforms.
- Produce weekly debtor reports for management.
- Reconcile customer payments.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
- Apply the firm's credit control procedures consistently.
- Prepare statutory interest and late payment charges where appropriate.
- Escalate long outstanding debts and prepare files for legal action if required.
- Continuously improve debtor days and cash collection performance.

Experience Required
Essential:
- At least five years' credit control or accounts receivable experience.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Experience collecting debts from medium and large corporate organisations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently.

Desirable:
- Experience within financial services, banking or professional services.
- Knowledge of Coupa, SAP Ariba or similar invoice approval systems.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.

You will be:
- Professional and confident.
- Persistent without being confrontational.
- Highly organised.
- Commercially aware.
- Comfortable dealing with senior finance professionals.
- Able to build strong relationships while ensuring invoices are paid on time.
What Success Looks Like
Within six months you will have:
- Reduced debtor days.
- Established regular contact with all key client Accounts Payable teams.
- Implemented a structured collection process.
- Produced accurate weekly aged debtor reports.
- Significantly improved cash collection performance.
