About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of corporate, government, and managing agent customers, building strong relationships while driving collections performance and delivering an excellent customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate customers across gas and electricity as the dedicated collections contact.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular phone calls, meetings, and conference calls with customers.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
  • Producing debt reports and analysing customer account data.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Working collaboratively with wider teams to achieve collection targets.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control or Collections role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Confident using multiple systems simultaneously, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and adapt to changing processes.
  • Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Good Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Working Pattern

In this role you will be able to work on a hybrid pattern, with Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday and Friday at home. Our standard office hours are 0830 – 1700, Monday to Friday.
