Credit Controller, Ripon, £28,000-£30,000

An established business in Ripon is recruiting for an experienced credit controller to join their business on a full-time permanent basis. Once settled into the position, there is the potential for progression and a salary increase.

Duties

  • Opening new accounts and responsible for the day-to-day management of the customer base.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships.
  • Ensure as necessary all calls, letters, statements, and follow-up actions are carried out to bring the matter to the customer's attention to obtain payment of due/overdue debts.
  • Ensure the coordination of payments in relation to cash collection and aged debt reduction.
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
  • Agree, negotiate, and enforce repayment plans.
  • Manage credit limits in line with company policy.
  • Ensuring processes are followed as part of the collection requirements, account reconciliation, and payments.
