Credit Controller | Ipswich | £31,000 - £35,000 | Hybrid working (1 day in office per week)
We’re working with a Facilities Management company based in Ipswich to support the recruitment of a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will join a small but high-performing finance team and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales ledger/credit control function across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full credit control process across multiple entities, including collections and debt recovery
- Raise sales invoices, set up customer accounts and conduct credit checks within agreed policies
- Monitor credit limits and aged debtor reports, escalating overdue accounts and taking appropriate action
- Reconcile customer accounts, allocate payments and resolve billing and account discrepancies
- Use advanced Excel skills to extract and analyse large datasets, maintain income reports and support month-end reporting
- Support audits, process improvements and cross-functional teams while providing excellent customer service and resolving account queries

About you
- Experience working in a Credit Control role within a multi-site or multi-entity environment
- Proven sales ledger experience
- Strong knowledge of credit control processes, aged debt management and financial reconciliations
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads across multiple ledgers

- Contract: Full-time, permanent
- Location: Ipswich
- Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office, 4 days working from home
