We are working with an established property management business to appoint an experienced Credit Controller. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full credit control function across the client's residential property portfolio, driving collections, reducing arrears and bringing consistency and structure to the payment cycle.

The Role

You will provide a complete credit control service across the portfolio, taking responsibility for collections, reporting and the smooth running of the function. A key early objective is aligning all payment dates to a single fixed monthly date across the entire portfolio.

Collections & Arrears

  • Manage the full collections cycle - chasing customers by phone, letter and email through first, second and final reminder stages.
  • Progress accounts to legal action where required, including serving relevant notices for rent arrears and chasing former customer debts.
  • Prepare paperwork for court hearings and instruct bailiffs or solicitors to recover outstanding debt.
  • Raise purchase orders and approve related invoices for instructed works.
  • Handle enquiries relating to arrears and cases where customers are unable to pay, respecting confidentiality throughout.
  • Liaise with Property Managers during the collection process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
