How You'll Make An Impact As a Credit Controller
As a Credit Controller, you'll play a vital role in supporting SNAP's financial performance by ensuring the timely collection of outstanding customer debt, minimising credit risk and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively monitor aged debt, resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with company credit policies. Your work will directly contribute to healthy cash flow and support the continued growth of our business. Based in Acle, Norwich, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering results.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding arrears.
- Handling customer queries via telephone and email.
- Sending statements, reminder letters and payment links.
- Contacting customers to secure payment and resolve balances.
- Monitoring aged debt reports and escalating high-risk accounts.
- Posting and allocating daily incoming payments.
- Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies.
- Performing credit checks and supporting credit risk assessments.
- Producing aged debt and cash collection reports.
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
What We’ll Need From You
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
- Strong debt collection and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and resilience.

- Experience using ERP systems.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment and management.
- Experience working within a fast-paced finance environment.
- Relevant finance qualification or studying towards one.
