Role of Credit Controller in Brighton

Description
- Chase outstanding payments from clients and ensure timely resolution of payment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update customer accounts accordingly.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and payment status.
- Support the accounting and finance department with credit checks and account monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address queries and provide solutions.
- Assist in improving credit control processes and implementing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile
A Successful Credit Controller Should Have
- Experience in credit control or a related accounting and finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary of £30,000 to £32,000, dependent on the level of experience.
